We were walking through the streets snapping photos and checking out all the possiblities. We came upon Blend, which was also on my Yelp list. The crystals that hung above the bar were filled with light and sparkles and so cool looking from the street. We saw that mojitos were on special for five dollars, so we both agreed to change it up for the bargain price. Raul made a mean mojito! The spectacle was made again as we started taking pictures. There was a light crowd, since it was afternoon, so we wandered the place and checked it out. Blend was really cool, hip and chic with cozy corners of warm and sexy deep purple hues. Joel, who I believe was the manager was so nice and answered all our questions and again, had great input on things to do while we were there.
A dish of calamari came out of the kitchen in error, and Joel handed it off to us, well me...Andreea is not a fan. So I tried really hard not to finish the whole thing off, but it was the best I'd ever had. He mentioned that they had an all new menu and they were in the beginning stages of trying it out. Well, this dish was a success. We only stayed for the one drink and headed out to take some more photos and explore the town.
