With New Years resolutions to travel more and experience adventure, I finally have a girl's weekend-ish on the agenda. It's been about 2 or 3 years since the last one. It's sort of a turning 40 celebration hopefully happening soon, if my sidekick, Andreea can get her passport in order. Andreea, are you reading this? I love you, but you have to get to the embassy and get me to Mexico! Forgetful are we, not renewing on time. I hope everything works out and we can head to the playa before the breakers get there. All I wish is a quick hit for some sun and relaxation and to check out the ruins in Tulum. (She can't really sit still, so I will give her the ruins.) I would be happy with IV margaritas and some sunscreen. In my research, I found this place called Luna Blue in Playa del Carmen, with a treetop suite...just calling my name. If Mexicali was still the destination, that is where you could find me. However, Mexico will have to wait until next time, passport gliches for Andreea. As of now, Old San Juan is on the agenda...details to follow!
